Been pretty stressed for the past few weeks, and frankly, I still am!
I know people always go like, "Huh, you're stressed? But you're only taking 2 subjects!"
I know it's ONLY 2 subjects, but two very important ones
One is my Independent A which is the first part of my final year thesis and another is Philosophy which is an extremely hard subject to grasp (my brains can blow out for this one I tell you and I'm not kidding!)
Then there's also the nagging thought behind my head that's telling me that this is the end of my 3 year degree and I'll either make it or not
Looking back at my past results, it's just average and because of how my uni system works, my aim for the 2nd upper class would largely depend on how well I do for this last two semesters
Yes, getting 1st class didn't even cross my mind cause I know it's impossible...I was never an over-achiever=)
Got this while reading Sophie's World:
"If the human brain was simple enough for us to understand, we would still be so stupid that we couldn't understand it"
Hm, why do we learn philosophy again?

They will run and not grow weary,
They will walk and not be faint.

Friendship is like peeing on yourself
Sometimes, we just got to believe in ourselves
Have a lil' confidence and BE the person that you are meant to be
Some may still be around, while others have either moved on or just no longer in contact
But whatever it is, a part of who you are today is the result of those relationships
There is your family, your closest relation that have been there since the day you were born
Tirelessly and lovingly bringing you up, often wanting the best for you in all circumstances (well, probably more often than not=p)
There are your friends, those that celebrate your joys together and stand by you when all else seem to fail
The perfect companion to just chill out and talk about anything under the sun
And finally, there are also your teachers, mentors and whoever that you are not directly related to but are just willing to share their abundant knowledge and wisdom
Their purpose is to build you up and share their life experiences, the good and the bad, so that you can learn from them
Their hope is to see you grow as a person and they do not ask for anything in return
When I was at a Facilitation forum yesterday, I was surrounded by people who had lived life wayy more than myself and has so much knowledge and life experiences
As they were discussing on ways of transferring their long years of knowledge to others in order to help build the younger people and bring them further, I was reminded of the people that had poured so much into my life
I felt truly grateful and blessed to have crossed path with such amazing people
Be it teachers from school, leaders from church or supervisors from work, I'm pretty sure that I got to learn from the best
These people had willingly spent time and energy in showing their care and also wanting to bring out the best in me
There's just so much that I can thank them for
Whoever said that all human beings are often selfish?
Well, I'm sure that all of us have had those people in our lives at some point
I hope they inspire you to want to be a great teacher to those around
To share what you have so that others may benefit from it...no charges needed=)
"A teacher is one who makes himself progressively unnecessary"

Many people are afraid of failures
Often, that's the reason to draw back and not venture into new territories
In fact, it is also one of the most common reasons for people to accept mediocrity
Being afraid of failures means that you're afraid of what others would think of you
If you fail, would you be ridiculed? Ignored? Looked down upon?
Those questions would constantly be playing through in your mind whenever decisions are to be made
Also, what about having to answer to yourself?
What happens to your self-esteem when you fail?
Will you lose confidence in yourself and find it hard to get up once again?
Oh, all the trouble that you would have to go through just to gain 'a valuable experience'
Hence, the safe route is always better than taking the risk
This way, your flaws would not be discovered and you're at a position where your positive side shows
You're at your comfort zone where things are under your control
No worries about things not turning out well as it's just the same routine that you're so used to
Hmm, new and heavier responsibilities?
Just say no, and no one, including yourself would ever find out if you would be able to make it till the end
Just be where things are going smoothly and where you're not in-charge, so that the responsibility is always, not yours
Accept mediocrity and
life.
would.
just.
be.
ordinary.
Oh, dear.
Many had asked me about my work and what I do

But as I got used to things, I really had fun there...sort of like a long vacation
The people were great, there were less worries and life was simple
Despite all that I had probably complained and grumbled to people around, I know that I will surely miss my time there
Work can be a little mundane at times but whenever there's an event, it's definitely fun, fun, fun!
I'm currently based in one of their branches in Sepang GoldCoast
Check out the view from my workplace...
Beautiful isn't it?=)
