Trip to Malacca

The 5 of us had planned a trip to Malacca to ‘celebrate’ that our sem has ended
It’s something that we try to do every sem
Sadly, Aple couldn’t join us at the last minute due to some unfortunate reasons and only 4 of us went

Well, I found out that Malacca is NOT a good place to be driving…and this is coming from someone who’s been driving in Penang okay
There are soo many motorists around and the roads are extremely narrow and weird (yes, it’s weird!)
I’m just glad we all got home in one piece *phew* (it’s NOT my driving k, it’s the roads, seriously:P)

Anyway, we basically went there to eat till our hearts content
There was nothing much to do as we weren’t interested in visiting the historical places
The trip was all about good company and good food=)

Surprise!

Turning 22 was just awesome as I had spent the whole weekend with close friends
On Friday was a surprise party with my cell group
Saturday was another surprise party with a bunch of really cool people
And Sunday was an entire day out with Chrys & Helena

Awww..I feel so loved=D

I've been turning into a movie freak lately...and I was wondering why I'm so broke sigh

I like war movies and I am pretty fascinated with China history although I don't speak Mandarin or Cantonese or any other Chinese language very well (*coughs*). Anyway, it wasn't really good and it's probably because they tried to cram the whole history into a 2 hour movie. Darn.

Kinda makes you think bout your own life isn't it...do you know what you're living for?

My ratings: 3/5

Yes, it's a chick flick, a romantic comedy, and the kind that makes you go home all happy, smiley and feeling as though there's always a happy ending in everything. If you just want to be entertained, this is definitely the show...plus there were some pretty funny sarcastic remarks in it to amuse you too=) I truly enjoyed it especially after all the exam stress that I've had.

"Love is patient, love is kind, love is slowly going out of your mind" HAHA

Me likes!! Didn't exactlyy blew me away but the twisted plots were great although I got a bit lost here and there hehe. I'm not giving any spoilers..so, go watch!

My exam has finally ended and it had lasted for...a day! haha

I had only 1 paper as the others were assignment based

So in other words, I practically slaved through the entire semester and this exam was the last of it

Until everything starts again in May......

Well, as for now, I'm looking forward to the holidaaaaayyyysssss!! yippie~

Was a lot of fun talking to her...it's been quite a while ever since she left to Melbourne

I was laughing so much the whole time that I nearly fell off the chair (literally)

And throughout the conversation, we had an 'interesting' topic and she was super hyper, excited and turning red all over

Friends...a written assignment

Seeing the title, you probably thought of all the essays and karangans that you've written during your younger days

Yes, I do admit that when we've reached a certain age, writing a paper on topics such as 'my best friend,' 'my favourite color' or 'my dog' would sound pretty lame

But anyhow, that was exactly what I did!

I was...

Curious about what guys and girls look for in their friends

Curious about how they treat their friends

Curious about what they share with their friends

And basically wanting to know about how the 2 genders define friends

Is it similar? Or perhaps not...

For my research paper, I wrote on Gender Differences and Friends
Some of you might have fallen victim to my 30 minutes interview on this subject

Forgetting about our physiological and biological make up...

We've always seen movies or heard about how guys and girls are just SO different

Guys are about sports, computer games, cars and girls

Girls are about shopping, gossipping and pouring their hearts out to one another

I know I've only scraped the icing top with what I've stated above

However, the question is...do you really think the two genders are so different? Or is it too much of a generalization?

What do guys seek for in their friends? Is it just company to hang out and joke around or is it someone to share their emotional needs with? Same goes for the female species...

Does gender play a role in how a person define his or her friends? Or does it depend solely on the person him/herself?

Also, we all know that we treat our friendships with same and different gendered friends differently

What's in a guy/guy or a girl/girl friendships? What about a guy/girl friendships?

A simple topic...yet when you go deep down to it, there's so much more

Sometimes, it is better not to think too much

It might just be unnecessary and a waste of time

But then again, I'm just curious...

KL International Marathon Run

Venue: Dataran Merdeka

Yup...I WAS THERE!

To support of course hehe

It was kinda cool to see about 10,000 people running
Plus Dataran Merdeka was nicely lighted up early in the morning

A bunch of people from CoUZ were there to participate in the 10km run
As for the rest of us not-so-active ones, we were there for SMILE evangelism

SMILE is basically where we would go and talk to the people around...yup, I mean strangers

What do we talk about, you wonder? Well, come ask me if you wanna know=)
